Kaz'n'Zak are professional clowns and all-round children's entertainers with extensive experience in:

We are committed to providing quality children's entertainment with a focus on interactivity and fun. All of our shows are custom designed to suit your requirements and that of the children we are entertaining. We will find out what the child/children's interests are, and try where possible to incorporate them into the show.

What we can do...

Whatever your occasion, Kaz'n'Zak can put together an attractive package of entertainment guaranteed to delight children of all ages from 1 to 101! From children's parties to stage shows, fetes, fairs, functions and community events Kaz'n'Zak will provide magical entertainment for the children, and give them a time to remember!

Clowning for children...

In the best traditions of clowning for children, the joke is always on us! Our clown characters can be modified according to the age of the children involved; from traditional clowns in full make up and costume to more modern clowns with less make up, and funky costumes, for younger children and those who are likely to be nervous of clowns.  

We also offer a special program for children who are afraid of clowns where we arrive in ordinary clothes etc, and gradually turn into clowns during the show - the children get to see make up applied, costumes put on etc, and understand that a clown is just a person inside!  

Clown shows can be themed depending on a child's particular interests for a party, or an educational requirement for a school, library or other organisation. Clowning with audience participation can be an excellent way to introduce or reinforce educational messages, and used to great effect during Book Week, for school holiday activities or just to support a curriculum objective.  

Talk to us about your specific requirements. Regardless of the theme of our show, we never rely on jokes at the children's expense for laughs; our bumbling clowns often need the help of an assistant from the audience to get it right, and the children perform much of the magic themselves. All of our assistants receive a diploma of clown magic and a special gift for helping us out.

Funtastic Face Painting...

Face painting can be combined with a clown show for a birthday party, or done on its own at a fair, fete, promotional or community event. Face painting can be particularly useful at themed parties, with everyone having a similar face.

As well our character parties can include character face painting - eye patches and moustaches for pirates, sparkly glitter faces for fairies and princes! We are very experienced at handling large numbers of children for face painting and can provide up to four face painters for a large event.  

We only use the best quality paints and glitters, which have been specifically designed for use on faces. As well, we practice excellent hygiene with brushes, sponges etc - see our Code of Practise. Our face painting varies from quick cheek art to more elaborate full-face designs. Examples of our work are attached.  

What we actually paint is only limited by the child's imagination!

Brilliant Balloon Sculpting...

Balloon sculpting adds a new dimension to a party, and adds magic to a promotional event, fair or fete.  

Children love to watch the balloons blown up and turned into something wonderful- we can produce a very wide range of balloon models from single balloon puppies and swords, to multi balloon hats and sculptures.  

Balloon sculpting is perfect for a "walk-a-round" or roaming gig......

Mellifluous Magic...

Everyone loves magic, and no one loves it more than children - if it is performed with them in mind! Magic for children is special, and requires and good understanding of child development and an ability to interact with them at their level.  

We can perform a variety of programs, developed specifically to take into account a child's age group and interests, or themed to suit an organisation or function.  

All of our magic programs involve audience participation often the magic happens right there in a child's hand! From big productions to smaller, close up magic, our emphasis is always on the way the child sees it.

Imagine the delight when a child is asked to hold a ball and opens their hands to discover a handful of stars; imagine their laughter when it appears that the magician has mistakenly removed his own boxer shorts; imagine their wonder when a simple spell performed by them results in the magical appearance of a real live bunny!  

Magic shows can last from 20 minutes to an hour and be as wacky or sophisticated as required. We can also design our program around any educational theme required. Each of our magic assistants receives a personalized diploma of clown magicand a special gift to show our appreciation.

Gigantic Games...

From 10 to 12 children at a birthday party to 50 children at a pre-school event, we can provide age appropriate games that encourage imagination and co-ordination. From Musical Statues and Pass the Parcel, to more complex relays and balloon games, the same thought goes in to developing a program of games for an event, as into a program of magic.  

We try to ensure that the variety of games presented will cater for children of all types and abilities, and our focus is on participation rather than winning! Music and dancing games are frequently included in the program, with mums and dads encouraged to do the Chicken Dance or Macarena with the children! As well, games can be developed or modified to support a particular theme or educational objective.

Super Story telling...

Story telling can happen as part of a larger program, or on its own. Story telling is particularly suited to younger age groups, and can be modified to cater for their interests.  

Story telling is a very good avenue where there are educational objectives, particularly for older children where story telling becomes more interactive, with the children developing the plot themselves with guidance. Hand Puppets can be used as part of story telling, and we have a variety of devices to encourage children to participate in the story telling process.

Crazy Character shows (fairies, princesses, witches, wizards, pirates etc)...

Our character shows can include any or all of the above, but are themed specifically to suit the character - the Pirate's party includes the walk the plank games, balloon swords, and a treasure map; the Fairy's party includes fairy magic, glitter faces, sparkly dancing wands etc.
